why do we need newborn photos?

the first few days of a big life for your little babe, rested in your arms, is truly such a precious time and deserves to be captured.

our sessions are held in our studio space — where we can create the best environment for bub to be nice and relaxed for their photos and you’re more than welcome to rest up, nap or make a coffee or two while your session progresses.

we’re also open to home visits.

we prefer to shoot little ones between the age of 5 to 12 days old for the best tranquility of babies during the session. however, welcome up to 8 weeks old for newborn sessions!

no extra to pay — have everything great from the session delivered straight to you and available for download once we’ve completed your gallery.

HOW DOES BOOKING IN WORK?

when you’re ready to lock in a session with us, send us a message for our availability.

once we have the perfect date for you, we’ll require:

⋆ a $120 retainer (via invoice or transfer)
⋆ signature on contract (via email)

your session is popped onto a payment plan until your session date.

    when your gallery is with you, you’re more than welcome to access it anytime within the next 12 months.

    you’re also able to download as many images as you wish as many times as you wish — perfect for the entire family to have a crispy copy!

  • gift pack + printing options

    digitals are great to have — but nostalgia always hits better when you have physical prints!

    we have printing options available for all sessions after your gallery has been delivered. as well as linen gift boxes + USBs in case you’re looking for extra safe storage for your images.

FAQ

  • we hold sessions outdoors in the golden hour, or at your home.

    outdoor sessions are held only at sunrise or sunset for the perfect lighting.

    at home visits can be completed in the morning or early afternoons. we will check in with you to see what works best for you!

  • we recommend bubs to come in as early as 5-12 days old — and usually book your session for a week after your due date.

    plan ahead and book 6-8 weeks in advance, especially for weekend dates.

  • book in by simply messaging us on our social media or contacting us through here! we’ll go through the booking process with you.

    we require at least a $120 retainer upfront and a signature on our contract prior to locking your date in.

  • we sure do! we have a huge variety of wraps and outfits for our bubs. we will discuss with you prior to your session any particular colour or styles you may be after during your session.

    if you did have a sentimental item you’d like photographed, please ensure you have it at the ready for when your session arrives!

  • any number of family members can attend the session!

    just keep in mind as parents still learning about their little babe, you may get overwhelmed by lots happening at once - so use your own discretion to decide on who you’d like to attend.

  • we do try our very best to make kiddos comfortable during your session.

    if they do get upset and we’ve exhausted every measure possible, we will reschedule your session to the next possible date for the both of us.
